Wood Wool Excelsior Teddy Bear Stuffing – Grade 3

Traditional Wood Wool Excelsior Teddy Bear Stuffing has been used since teddy bears were introduced into the world over 100 years ago!  Grade 3 is incredibly fine which makes stuffing teddy paws and limbs easy (and prevents that spiky feeling too!).

This traditional material has been kiln dried is ideal for vintage bear repairs and modern artist bears too.  This fine woodwool, one of the softest grades of woodwool available, is only 0.10mm thick and cut into 1.7mm wide strands.​​​​​​​  It is often referred to as straw teddy bear filling but it is actually wood!

This 100% natural wood wool is a sandy beige in colour and is made from British Spruce timber from sustainable British woodlands and, of course, biodegradable.
