Recordable Sound Box Module for Soft Toys (60 seconds)

Insert a personal, 60-second message into a teddy using this Recordable Sound Box Module.  Easy to use, easy to insert and, at the press of a button, you can replay your message over and over again.

The little white device measures 45mm in diameter and 25mm in depth.  It works well in teddies, soft toys and dolls – both handmade or stuff-your-own Teddy Mountain / Build-a-Bear style toys too.

The Recordable Sound Box Module is very simple to use.  It has three, clearly marked settings on it saying:

• Play
• Record
• Off

To Record:  Select the ‘Record’ setting and, when you are ready, hold down the button to record.  The red light should show whilst you are recording.  To end the recording, simply stop holding down the button. If you want to change your message, simply select ‘Record’ and have another go.  Select ‘Play’ or ‘Off’ immediately after recording so you don’t accidently recording over your message!

To listen to your recording: Select the ‘Play’ setting and, when you want to listen to the recording, push down the button.

To completely switch the Sound Box Module off:-  Select the ‘Off’ setting.

Don’t forget, when the Sound Box Module is inside your bear, it will sound quieter than when outside of the bear.

To insert the Recordable Sound Box Module:

The Recordable Sound Box Module has been designed to be inserted into a soft toy.  Generally this will be inserted into the back of the toy with the ‘play’ button facing into ted’s tummy and the speaker facing outwards.

Teddy mountain bears (and many other stuff-your-own bears) will have a velcro opening at the back which houses a little bag where the stuffing is inserted.  Once the toy has been stuffed, this bag is then sealed.  The Sound Box Module can then be inserted in the toy inbetween the bag and the velcro opening. If you are making a handmade toy, it helps to create a little fabric bag that can be sewn into the seam to keep the sound box in one place and facing one direction.

The Recordable Sound Box Module contains 3 x LR44 batteries (which can be replaced if needed).

The sound module is CE compliant, non washable and is not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
