DMC Cotton Perle Embroidery Thread 115 / 761 / 5 (thick thread)

A skein of 100%, mercerised cotton thread that has been manufactured using a twisting process that makes it less likely to fluff or fray and is non-divisible.  It is soft and silky to touch and has a subtle shine, it’s also a textured thread which adds a 3D effect to the stitched pieces.

Because it is non divisable and its thickness, we find it is perfect for stitching noses and mouths on soft toys (and also great for cross stitch, creative stitching, needle point and embroidery!).

This size 5 thread is the second thickest cotton perle that DMC produce and it comes in a 25m skein.

It is perfect for stitching mouths and noses on soft toys, cross stitch, needle point and embroidery.  It is a particularly good thread for children to learn to sew with using a size 14 tapestry needle on binca.
