Who doesn’t love Christmas! This gorgeous little paperback knitting book by the ever-popular Sachiyo Ishii contains irresistibly cute knitted Christmas toys for knitters of all abilities. These lovely mini knits range from a polar bear, angel, penguin and robin to a Christmas pudding, bauble, snowman and Santa with his sack.
These 20 cute and quirky designs are quick and easy to make and ideal for using up oddments of yarn.

Sachiyo suggests using uncarded washed wool, cotton wool or polyfibre stuffing to fill your tiny creations. Knitted on size 12 (US 2) knitting needles, all of the animals have been knitted in double knitting, or DK (8 ply) yarn. These delightful designs are a great stash buster.
The book uses lots of pictures to guide you through the various aspects of knitted toy making including how to make castles, clothes and even knitted eyes.
Within the book there is a multitude of scenes, characters and toys to knit including Santa with his sack, a Christmas elf, a gingerbread house, a nativity, finger puppets and many more.
The characters vary in size but are mostly around 5cm tall.
