Fun Of The Fair by Melanie McNeice
Stuffed Animal Patterns For Sewn Toys
Fun of The Fair by Melanie McNeice welcomes you to a world of excitement and adventure, as their travelling show rolls into town. Amidst the beauty of the bunting, the sweet cotton candy, the prize winning games and the pin-wheeling fireworks, best of all are the animals. From carousel ponies to parading elephants, from mischievous monkeys to fish-juggling seals, and an awesome lion, too, the circus creatures are free to be loved, played with and cuddled by all!
The patterns are suitable for all skill levels, and they are explained with step-by-step instructions, illustrated with beautiful colour photographs and diagrams. Actual-size templates are provided so you can get started straight away, and useful stitching techniques are also included.
Melanie McNeice is an Aussie pattern designer based in the leafy outskirts of Melbourne. Mel’s adventures in sewing began just ten years ago after she found herself a stay-at-home mum with the desire to still be productive. Melly’s passion for sewing grew quickly after her sister encouraged her to give it a try, and only 12 months after beginning to sew, she tried her hand at design under the pattern label Melly & Me.
Melly’s goals in design are to create a range of contemporary sewing patterns that include bright and quirky toys, wearable purses, as well as fun and modern quilts. Melanie aims to design items that are original and fun, achievable in a day, as well as being completely usable in every day life! Melly takes inspiration from her two young children, childhood memories, the beauty of nature, and her love and fun for colour.
This book includes easy to follow instructions suitable for beginners, includes full-sized templates for all the patterns.
