Helmbold Alpaca Mohair Fabric – 25mm Dense – Fluffy Bear

Helmbold Alpaca Mohair Fabric, 25mm Dense in Fluffy Bear is a super soft, luxurious German mohair fabric which is perfect for making medium to large teddy bears.

Fluffy Bear is a soft milk chocolate brown colour with a 25mm dense pile making it feel so soft and very luxurious.  The backing is a darker brown with mottled light brown which gives a fabulous contrast if trimming back to the fabric around the muzzle area when making a bear!

A good cotton sewing thread match to this fabric is Gutermann 513 . and a good extra strong thread is Gutermann Top Stitch 289

This mohair fabric is available in 1/16m, 1/8m and 1/4m pieces (the width of the roll is approximately 140cm including the selvedges and, therefore, 1/16th is approx 25cm deep x 35cm wide, 1/8th is approx 50cm deep x 35cm wide and a 1/4m will be approximately 50cm deep x 70cm wide).

Please note, although we try our best, it is very difficult to photograph an exact colour match of the mohair.
